Exercise Variations Vary By Age Group, According to New Mindbody Report

Mindbody's 2019 Fitness in America report surveyed 17,000 Americans who revealed that primary motivations to exercise differ by age group. Older Americans are more drawn to longevity benefits, while younger Americans tend to want to improve their physical appearance, according to the report.

Longevity, weight loss and improved physical appearance are among Americans’ top reasons for exercising, according to a recent report issued by Mindbody, San Luis Obispo, California. However, these reasons each vary by age group.
