Mindbody Hires Rajasekar as Chief Technology Officer
San Luis Obispo-based Mindbody brought on former Silicon Valley exec Sunil Rajasekar as its chief technology officer.
Rajasekar most recently headed up engineering and product management at online auction website eBay. He has served in the CTO role at software-as-a-service company Lithium Technologies and held leadership roles at fintech firm Intuit.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Sunil to the Mindbody team,” said Rick Stollmeyer, CEO of the software firm for wellness-oriented businesses. “He brings deep knowledge and expertise in both business and consumer software platforms.”
In the role, Rajasekar will continue the integration of the Frederick and FitMetrix products Mindbody acquired when it bought its main salon and spa rival Booker in August. He will also head up product and technology strategy, consumer marketplace expansion, and development of the company’s payments and platform, Mindbody said in a news release Nov. 13.
